what would you do if you KNOW you are going to live forever?

Last week, we discussed at Life Group, how would we live our lives if we knew we only had one week to live. This a common question that friends might pontificate about during those late night talks. I thought of a better question:

“What would you do if you KNOW you are going to live forever?”

Though Resurrection Day has already past this year, I continue to think about the meaning of Jesus’ resurrection.

It means that if Jesus was resurrected, then I will be resurrected. It means that the promise he spoke in John 3:16 is true and that we will truly have eternal life. John writes:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Before I can even begin to answer my own question, I have to tell you how I FEEL. If I were to know, truly, truly know and believe that I was going to live forever, I would feel euphoria. At least much better than I am feeling currently. Haha!

My friend had another take: “For me, living forever sounds scary, I guess I need to feel better about living.”
